Adam Milstein Supports Jewish American Families in the U.S.

Adam Milstein is a supporter of Israeli causes in the U.S. He is a successful real estate developer and philanthropist, living in California. Adam was born in Israel and served in the IDF during the Yom Kippur War. After serving his military time, he studied and graduated from Technion. He moved to the U.S. in 1981, where he earned his MBA from the University of Southern California. He began his career in commercial real estate in Los Angeles. He is currently a partner in Hager Pacific Properties.

Milstein co-founded and serves as National Chairman of the Israeli-American Council. He is on the boards of Israel on Campus Coalition, and several other organizations that support the Jewish community in the United States. He and his wife Gila, co-founded Sifriyat Pijama B’America. This is an organization which gives free monthly books in Hebrew, to Jewish-American families

When asked how he got started with Hager Pacific he, claimed that after receiving his MBA, he was getting offers to work for less than what an undergraduate would get. So, he decided to go into the real estate brokerage business. After several successful years, he began investing his own money in real estate.

Adam sees trends in the real estate market before they become common knowledge and he acts on them. He says that supply always lags a few years behind demand, then the trend flips. He attributes his success to follow-up, consistency and persistence.

He says that the biggest mistake people make in real estate is wanting to make big money fast. It is better to take your time, because real estate does not move fast. It takes time to become successful with it.

Adam and his wife, Gila formed the Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation in 2000. They are dedicated to supporting students and young professionals in identifying with their Jewish heritage. They live in Encino, California. They have three daughters, one granddaughter, and two grandsons.
